Dirt and Dust
Steve Coel
Young families playing alongside fields of hay and flower, colour and sunshine. , growth and happiness. Together in streams paddling and splashing, their laughs echo towards emptying villages...people being forced away by death and health and money. As this scene changes nobody notices the displaced, the disturbed, the dismayed.
Leaving as they had arrived innocent and hopeful...mixed messages of sweat and blood, machine and tool, metal and rust, dirt, dust...death are tooled into skin.
